Evidence-Based Practice - EBP – Definition

A concept or idea cannot be implemented in the health care system; instead, patients must have the results of evidence-based research applied to them so they can receive the appropriate care when they need it. In this regard, the research that is evidence-based is the study that the Healthcare petitioners' work has been clinically approved to be useful for the patient.

Importance of Pico

The medical sciences are moving toward their most advanced stage. Therefore, it is important to provide answers to questions about patient care in the healthcare system. There are questions regarding health issues for every healthcare system, of course. As a result, some questions must be addressed in order to consider the desired outcome or potential recovery time. In this sense, Pico is the approach that has been used to respond to this query.

Plan - Assignment

For me, the assignment's goal and overall structure are based on the need for moral support while coping with a chronic illness.

Research Problem - For patients with chronic diseases, moral support such as hospice care is important in addition to medical treatment..

Introduction

Patients with chronic illnesses are the ones who lack confidence in both their own and other people's abilities. Consequently, this explains why patients do not fully recover when using only medicine. Therefore, it is important to comprehend that, in the name of hospice care, patients dealing with chronic diseases are able to receive moral and emotional support from the nursing staff. Patients with cancer who are unable to walk due to a medical condition like osteoporosis, cardiac disease, or kidney disease He or she will undoubtedly require timely moral support in order to deal with a chronic illness and recover.

Two evidence from search

Evidence No. 1:  Patients with chronic diseases cannot be treated with medicine alone.

"The love for the life is important and necessary"

Patients with chronic illnesses have significantly lower confidence. (2018) Wang, J. Y., Zhuang, Chiou, Wang, Wang, and Liu It is important to recognise that patients with chronic illnesses like osteoporosis and other conditions affecting their heart or kidney also require emotional support from the nursing staff.

Evidence No.  2: Responsibility of Nursing Staff

From an ethical standpoint, it is the nursing staff's duty to care for patients who are seriously ill and have chronic illnesses that require much more of their attention. As a result, it is essential to satisfy the patient's emotional needs so that he or she can develop the confidence to rely on the nursing staff for assistance in receiving treatment and moving toward a quick recovery.

First two evidence-based practice

Ask - Ability of nursing staff

The ethical dilemma of caring for the patient is the duty of the nursing staff. Therefore, the nursing staff must provide the patient with both medical and emotional support, but it is also true that patients who have been coping with chronic illnesses like osteoporosis or other heart or kidney-related diseases must have lower self-confidence. Then, nurses must provide the necessary care and pay attention to the patient in order to maintain the patient's trust in the medication and the nursing staff. The first step in conducting research is to listen to the patient.

Acquire – proper hospice care

Having a hospice care practise is important for patients who have been coping with chronic diseases. It is essential because patients who are managing chronic illnesses need to feel confident. It is not enough for a patient to receive their medications as instructed; they also require staff who can attend to their psychological needs while also providing them with emotional support.

Conclusion

In conclusion, people who suffer from chronic illnesses tend to be low on confidence and self-worth. As a result, the assistance of the medical staff and nursing staff is necessary. In the sense that the patient has been coping with numerous issues, such as psychological issues, the nursing staff's care is referred to as hospice care. It indicates that the patient has been coping with both their illness and their emotional pain. As a result, the patient needs to receive the right care in order to recover more quickly than before. It is evident that people recover more quickly from their illnesses when receiving hospice care than when not receiving it.
