It is critical that equality be established and demonstrated in society so that both men and women have equal access to opportunities. Having a society built on moral principles and justice is in Australia's best interests as a whole (Jovanovski & Cook,2020, p. 3).

To provide women with opportunities and places where they can work with the skills and education they have, the paper will place a greater emphasis on equality than on identity. If there are unequal opportunities and discrimination based on gender identity, society cannot progress. The Australian government's priorities and strategies for developing a buffer system and programme to support and advance gender equality in society are also included in the essay.

The approach taken in the essay is based on knowledge of the welfare system and programmes, particularly those on gender equality proposed by the Australian government to advance system fairness. Similar to that, the main objective of the paper is to understand how effectively the welfare system and programmes ensure gender equality both nationally and internationally.

Welfare system and programs of Australian Government for Gender equality

In 2016, a gender equality and women's empowerment strategy was put in place to better understand how gender equality can benefit society (Johnston et al., 2020, p. 5). It can also help people understand foreign policy, economic diplomacy, and even development projects where female entrepreneurs are more prominent. Australia doesn't just concentrate on initiatives that support the welfare system and gender equality.

Equal opportunities for men and women must be provided in every society in order for it to advance and change for the better. In addition, gender identity continues to be a cause of violence in society. Nevertheless, Australia has long been a global leader in empowering women. The focus is on limiting and ending violence against women and girls worldwide because the Australian government is dedicated to providing ongoing efforts to promote equal rights, particularly for women and girls.

From 2022 to 2023, Australia committed $65 million to global and regional gender equality initiatives. (Johnson 2022, p. 4). The successful measures taken by the Australian government to enhance its understanding of decision-making, peacebuilding, and leadership through the participation of women in organisations (Vasta 2020, p. 6). The Australian government plays a significant role in advancing gender equality in society and collaborating with other organisations and the government to raise gender equality priorities.

Additionally, it means forming alliances with women's associations, business owners, and service providers whenever possible, as well as supporting organisations where women work. It is to acknowledge that women can hold positions of leadership in any organisation. It is based on the assumption that women do not constitute the majority. The girls also require their attention. They shouldn't be combined because proper development routes are needed. The provision of social and economic benefits to women and girls is another foundation for gender equality.

There is a review of funding for various organizations, including the United Nations, so that they can have literal relationships with banks and other Common Wealth to effectively integrate gender equality in society (Nicholas 2020,  p. 4). Similarly, the Australian government intends to use gender equality considerations to raise funding and have the government system partner so that opportunities are available to both male and female citizens without discrimination.

Effectiveness of welfare system and program

Australia has an undisputed welfare system and a programme promoting gender equality. Economic diplomacy and the development of foreign policy both include the promotion of gender equality in corporate operations, especially for women in leadership positions. The goal is to incorporate gender equality into every aspect of the organization's work so that women can be recognised for their contributions and deliver high-quality work while also enhancing the framework of the business. Promoting

The second priority is the promotion. Any woman should be able to achieve economic empowerment. Because a woman's reliance on a particular man in life is neither necessary nor important, it is crucial for her to be economically independent so she can handle her own costs and make her own decisions. As a result, developing a strategy based on gender equality while giving women the ability to work wherever they choose is given priority.

Ending violence

Stopping the violence comes in third on the list of priorities. Women can experience domestic or workplace violence if they have been threatened by family members or are in a committed relationship; as a result, violence against women should be outlawed both at home and at work. Both at work and at home, they can feel secure. For developing societies, it is crucial that women are treated equally at work, valued for their education and skills rather than their gender identity.

It is believed that women are less capable than men of managing both the home and the workplace. Promoting the method by which the violence can be stopped is given priority because it can be even worse when there is violence at work or home.

In an effort to eliminate gender inequality in society, the Welfare system and the programmer are being promoted. However, it must have a global impact to persuade people that understanding economic and social development is not only possible, but also now required. Men and women are both considered members of society when they have equal opportunities there, and it is impossible to have a society with significant advantages and benefits when one group does not feel equally respected and valued.

It is to recognise and understand that women can provide better decision-making and choices, and there are big decisions made in a family that affect the surrounding area; thus, they should not be taken for granted, including women and girls, so they can feel part of the society and the society can grow effectively.

In conclusion, gender equality in contemporary society is largely a result of women's empowerment. Women are even less interested in remembering that they have to take care of the house and the kids. Male employees also have more opportunities to lead and take care of the organisation than female employees because they cannot manage both the officer and the house. Since equal opportunities for women and girls to pursue an education and the freedom to work are essential for their economic development.
