Cybernetics is the concept that was first introduced in 1948 by Norbert Wiener in his book Animals and Machines.
The cybernetics concept is based on taking actions in the business that lead to achieving the business goals. Every business is now thought to be working toward its goals and objectives. But, is it really workable? Businesses are working, but if you still analyse the vision and mission of the business, you will realise that they are still working to achieve the goal.
Many business owners may be skeptical of this concept, but it is clear that having a plan and executing the necessary steps to reach one’s goals is a key factor in achieving success.
There are a few or numerous businesses that have achieved their business goal and are now expanding and maintaining their success.
I am giving you an easy example to understand the concept of cybernetics.
if there is a restaurant. You can observe the commercial restaurant Tahinis. I have also watched it online, but it's not available in my area.
Well, you will observe that their goal in the business was to achieve bonding with the customers so that they could feel at home while having quality time. Since its opening, the business has served quality Middle Eastern food, including shawarma.
So, they had a quality product. What was the goal? to achieve customer bonding. They could also think they need more profit, but they first worked hard to achieve their goals. The goal was to form bonds. It will also be simple to have high profits once you have bonding.
If you realize videos on YouTube, you can understand how viral "Tahini" is. Every other person who loves food is a fan, including me, of #Tahini, just from my observations on social media. even though there is no physical taste or presence of the restaurant.
So when a business is working on achieving its goal. It implies that businesses' strategies have shifted. The strategy can be to welcome customers and treat them like friends or family members.
Once they are treated like buddies, the business goal is achieved. Now the business is working to get ideas from customers for what they need in shawarma. As a result, the restaurant launches new recipes based on customer suggestions, making it an even more customer-oriented establishment.
You get the idea now. This approach is called cybernetics when a business takes steps in strategies to purely achieve the business's goal. Cybernetics is based on the concept of 'feedback loops', or how feedback from customers can be used to shape business decisions and strategies.
